This monster is shown pre trimming. It required 20 pints of water for the plaster mix. I hope it will get a lot lighter as it dries! I was pleased to get both the top and bottom flat and level, and to have no problems getting the basketball out. I also purchased a size 5 ball (about 22 cm diameter) but need to work up enthusiasm for another plaster session. Time seems very tight, but its too early to panic.
